Testimonial:

We recommend this tour for those who want to get to know Etyek's wineries, the hidden natural treasures of the region, and the Felcsút Pancho Arena. We also recommend the tour with older children, as there are several resting places on the road, ideal for families. We also touch on the special location of Diána Lake, the arboretum of Alcsút and the dinkey line of the Vál-valley, which is also suitable for transporting bicycles. The tour is aimed at the Pancho Arena in Felcsút, which offers interesting attractions for football lovers.

Route:

We leave the Budapest-Balaton cycle path next to Calvary of Etyek. We continue to the direction of Rókusfalvy Inn, on the main road. At the end of the village you can find the wineries on Újhegyi Street on the right or on Old Hill on the left. The fascinating experience offered by the cellars is not to be missed, but it is recommended to look at the lookout tower at the beginning of the street. The route to the Korda Filmpark rises, but the good news is that there will be no significant climbs along the way. After making an appointment in advance, visitors can take part in an adventure tour presenting the scenery and the history of film production. The route continues in the direction of the Alcsútdoboz, after 5 kilometers we turn to the right onto a gravel road, where the magical Lake Diana hides. There is also a film set on the shore of the lake that evokes a medieval atmosphere. Leaving this, we can enjoy the village view of Göböljárás and return to the main road. First we pass the Pannónia Golf & Country Club, and then we admire the protected plane alley of Alcsútdoboz . We roll along the quiet street of the village, then cross the main road. When we reach the arboretum on Alcsút, we turn to the right and head towards Felcsút on a gravel road. Reaching the village, we pass through quiet streets to arrive at the entrance of Pancho Arena, which is called the most beautiful football center in the country. Within the framework of a 90-minute guided tour, we can get to know the special and exclusive rooms of the stadium: “from the main enclosure to the dressing room, from the press conference room to the presidential meeting room. We can also visit places that we can't get into as fans visitong the matches. In addition, we can admire Ferenc Puskás' Olympic gold medal, world championship silver medal, BEK trophies, the jersey worn in Real Madrid, sit on the bench next to the court, take a photo at the Puskás statue, see where and how academics spend their daily lives, or even visit the 200-year-old chapel of the football center.”

The downloadable route (GPX) is a one-way tour, it is recommended to return to the Budapest-Balaton bicycle route on the same route.
