Route:
By following the route, from the centre of Dunakeszi you can reach the ruins of the medieval Alagi church. We follow the bicycle route, continue on low-traffic roads within the city, and a short stretch of dirt road.
We get ahead in the quiet streets of Dunakeszi, then cross the railway overpass and turn south onto the Pálya street bicycle route. Turning left at the Szabadságliget (Freedom Park) neighbourhood, we reach the dirt road along Rozmaring and Margit streets, which offers a superb view of Dunakeszi Airport. If we are lucky, we can also see model planes that their owners use to perform daunting maneuvers. Continuing for another kilometre and a half, we reach the ruins of the church with a shady garden providing a perfect place to relax. It is interesting that the remains of two churches were found during the excavations: one from the 13th century and one from the 15th century. Today, there are only a few walls and two sanctuaries remaining.
