Testimonial: From Dunakeszi to Szentendre with two crossings. It is a designated tour along the road and bicycle paths, which allows you to adventurously transfer from one city to another on the Danube bank. It is also an easy tour for families and beginners, which can be perfectly connected with a larger circle leading to Budapest or the Danube Bend.
Route: From Dunakeszi, a cycling stop along EuroVelo 6 we reach the Dunakeszi ferry port within a kilometer, from where ships depart every 20 minutes during the day. If we missed the ferry, we'd be targeting a buffet in the harbor. The ferry departing from the border of Szigetmonostor ends directly next to the bicycle path to Szentendre. Turning south, you can reach the Danube Promenade or the city center in a few minutes, where you can find restaurants and cultural attractions.
The trail is one-way. It is worth to continue the day towards Budapest or Leányfalu.
