Testimonial: by following the route, you can get from the Budapest-Dunakeszi bicycle route, through Megyeri bridge to Lupa-tó (Lake Lupa). We recommend it to all cyclists who want to swim in crystal clear water, do some wakeboarding, and choose from other waterfront recreation options.
Route: the route starts from the eastern side of Megyeri bridge and leads through the bicycle route constructed along the bridge. Crossing the bridge is a special experience: on the one hand it is a huge structure and a noisy highway, and on the other hand we are surrounded by calm nature and have a beautiful view of the Danube. After leaving the bridge, we arrive at the entrance of the lake through Gát street and then on Lupaszigeti street. We wish you a good swim and a pleasant stay! After drying our clothes, we can continue our journey on any side of the Danube: the Budapest-Szentendre bicycle route awaits us on the west side, while the Budapest-Dunakeszi bicycle route awaits us on the east side.
